English journalist Graeme Bailey has now offered an update on Ferran’s transfer saga, confirming the forward has agreed personal terms with PSG.
The 26-year-old has struck a deal with the French champions and is now simply waiting for the two clubs to finalise an agreement.
Barcelona are working with PSG to complete the move, with the transfer expected to be worth around €50 million.
That figure is significant given Ferran has just one year remaining on his contract, meaning Barcelona will be pleased to recoup a substantial fee rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Although Barcelona would not be thrilled with the idea of selling Ferran Torres, the proceeds from the transfer could be a lifesaver.
As we approach the start of the new season, the club are desperate for a new striker, with Julian Alvarez still being the top target.
An additional sum of money can help Barcelona push harder to sign Alvarez, perhaps by increasing their original offer to Atletico Madrid.
The Catalans can also utilise those funds to improve the offer for Rodri; their first proposal was rejected by Manchester City, who are asking for a higher valuation.
For now, though, Alvarez should be the priority given that Barcelona desperately lack a goalscorer, having allowed Robert Lewandowski to leave the club at the end of last season.
