Daniel Muñoz reunites with Glasner at Forest
Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Colombia international Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace in a deal worth up to £22 million.
The 30-year-old right-back has signed a three-year contract with Forest, with an option to extend his stay for a further season. His move to the City Ground sees him reunite with Oliver Glasner , who coached him at Palace.
Muñoz joined Crystal Palace from Belgian side Genk in January 2024 for around £8.5 million and quickly established himself as an important player. He made 109 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 11 goals and helping the club win the FA Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League.
He played a key role in Palace's FA Cup triumph in 2024-25, assisting the winning goal against Manchester City in the final and being named Man of the Match. He also featured prominently last season, making 46 appearances in all competitions, including 29 Premier League games, while contributing four goals and three assists.
The Colombian has also earned 51 international caps since his debut in 2021 and was included in his country's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Muñoz will now join Forest training and could make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground on Saturday.
