Are we going to write about quarterbacks? Offensive tackles? Edge rushers? You know it, but why? Because other NFL teams will draft them, just as they will draft every other position. DJ McKinney caught my eye last summer when I noticed his film at Colorado. He left an impact on their defense and showcased himself as a cornerback who could handle himself in man, despite being on the smaller side in terms of weight, as he used his size to make up for that. He can make plays on the ball to break it up or even intercept it, and it allows the defense to reset the field easily. Coming to Notre Dame expands his ceiling as a prospect, and it makes him someone worth watching as the fall rolls on.
