A dying man arrived at a Bronx hospital Monday afternoon with injuries to his head and body, and police are investigating whether his death was suspicious.
NYPD officials said the 60-year-old man was unconscious and unresponsive when someone dropped him off at Montefiore Hospital in Norwood just before 4 p.m. Hospital staff pronounced him dead shortly afterwards, according to police.
Officials could not immediately provide specifics on the kinds of injuries he had, and were working to notify his family before releasing his identity.
They said they had not made any arrests in connection with the case, which has not been ruled a homicide.
The hospital did not immediately respond to an inquiry about the incident.
