NESCONSET, Suffolk County (WABC) -- An out-of-control vehicle crashed into three construction workers in Nesconset on Monday morning, killing one.
It happened on Townline Road and Terry Road at 6:43 a.m.
The three construction workers were contractors working for Suffolk County on a paving project.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, another was seriously injured, and the third suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was seen being placed into handcuffs and taken into police custody.
