Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is amid a crucial offseason following a string of controversies tied to his mental health. Nacua is trying to fully focus on being better, especially off the field, and becoming a positive influence on the Rams.
But despite the intense grind in training camp, he has still kept tabs on the NBA, particularly on his favorite player, Philadelphia 76ers forward LeBron James . He was probably saddened by James’ decision to leave Los Angeles and move to Philadelphia, especially since they had been representing the same city. Also, watching the four-time MVP play won’t be as easy anymore for Nacua.
In an interview with CBS, the 25-year-old Nacua confirmed that James is his “NBA GOAT.” He admitted that he was shocked when the 41-year-old forward chose the 76ers.

“That was definitely not on my list (of possibilities). I thought he was returning to The Land, head back to Cleveland, or maybe join that Big Three down there in Miami,” said the two-time Pro Bowler.
“But I think it’s gonna be exciting, the ability for him to continue to play at a high level and to go with a young squad. They just picked up Jaylen Brown and they got Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.”

James has been spotted multiple times watching the Rams at SoFi Stadium. He was even present when Nacua set the Rams’ record for most receiving yards by a rookie in 2023.
The four-time champion may not be in Los Angeles anymore, but Nacua still has one wish: To see James wearing his jersey.
“That would be a dream come true. 100%. I got a No. 12 for you. Just say the word,” said Nacua.
