The Titans are roughly two weeks into their 2026 training camp schedule and less than a week away from their first preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. As prep continues ahead of the 2026 season, which begins for the Titans on Sept. 13, coach Robert Saleh and his squad will be at Nissan Stadium for an offense-versus-defense scrimmage that pits the team's best against best for about two hours of action.
Quarterback Cam Ward will lead a new-look offense that also stars first-round receiver Carnell Tate and big-money free agent add Wan'Dale Robinson on the perimeter. Over on defense, star DT Jeffery Simmons is surrounded by young, homegrown talents like LB Cedric Gray and safety Kevin Winston Jr., as well as offseason acquisitions who've looked impressive throughout camp like CB Alontae Taylor and defensive linemen John Franklin-Myers and Jermaine Johnson II.
The scrimmage figures to be a showcase of what the Titans have been building since Saleh took over in January, but also a chance for fans to see the Titans in their home stadium wearing their new uniforms for the first time. Saleh has promised a scoring system that'll be fun for fans to engage with and challenged the marketing department to include fans in interactive ways throughout the event.

Setting the stage for Blue & White Scrimmage
The Titans have made it through training camp relatively healthy and should only have a few small injuries to deal with heading into the scrimmage. WR Elic Ayomanor and DL John Franklin-Myers both left practice on Aug. 6 with injuries, but Saleh didn't seem to be concerned about either being particularly severe. Offensive tackles Dan Moore Jr., and JC Latham have also dealt with injuries throughout camp but both participated in the Titans' most recent practice.
Since training camp began, the Titans' defense has held the advantage over the offense. That's hardly a surprise; Saleh is a defensive-minded coach, and a huge chunk of the Titans' financial investment over the offseason went to solidifying a veteran presence on D.
