Tony Iommi Announces First Solo Album in 21 Years
More than two decades after his last proper solo effort, Fused, longtime Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has announced From the Dark. He co-wrote the album with Norwegian metal singer Jørn Lande, co-produced it with frequent collaborator Mike Exeter, and recruited Queen’s Brian May for a guest solo on “Death Wake.” It’s out October 23 on BMG.
