Now, they can add 2028 four-star defensive back Zion Dobson to the list. The 6-foot-1, 160-pounder will come to Tallahassee on Oct. 31 when the Seminoles play the Clemson Tigers , per Noles247 .
Dobson has plenty of other visits on his agenda as well. He'll also take trips to see the California Bears, Tennessee Volunteers , South Carolina Gamecocks, Missouri Tigers, Virginia Tech Hokies, Indiana Hoosiers, LSU Tigers , and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish .
247Sports composite rankings have Dobson listed as the No. 165 recruit nationally, the No. 12 safety, and the No. 7 prospect in North Carolina.
Although it hasn't been long since FSU offered Dobson, they've been able to establish a good connection with the East Forsyth High School star. That's mainly because of constant communication with Seminoles' cornerbacks coach Blue Adams.
"Coach Adams has been reaching out to me the most," said Dobson. "He has continuously checked up on me and my family and FaceTimed me."
Dobson is coming off a highly successful sophomore year. He racked up 56 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, six pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries.
He will join safety Giovanni Tuggle as well as edge recruits Christopher Sanon and Antonio Thomas Jr. for what will be one of the biggest games of the year for Florida State.
