The San Francisco Giants head south to begin a four-game series against the San Diego Padres tonight.
The Giants are going for the element of surprise again, as they have not announced a starting pitcher for tonight’s game as of the time this is being written. You can check out the comments below for more up to date information.
Whoever it ends up being will face off against Padres left-hander JP Sears, who enters tonight’s game with a 3.86 ERA, 4.75 FIP, with 23 strikeouts to nine walks in 28 innings pitched. His last appearance was in relief in the Padres’ 7-2 win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday, in which he allowed just one hit and one walk with three strikeouts in three and a third innings.
