Rams are limiting their time in Australia for Week 1 game

It is being reported that the Los Angeles Rams will arrive in Australia for their pivotal Week 1 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers one day before the contest kicks off. Meanwhile, the 49ers will reportedly spend about a week in The Outback as they prepare to start their season off on the right foot.
Fans, and media personalities attending the Week 1 international game are likely to end up spending more time in Australia than the Rams do.

It’s two different approaches by two very successful franchises. For the Rams, this was perhaps to be expected since last year when they went to London, they limited their time across the pond, and ended up having their best game of the year against the Jacksonville Jaguars as L.A. won by a final score of 35 to 7.
The traditional idea is that teams acclimate themselves to whatever area they have to travel to before gameday. The Rams are basically saying we don’t need to acclimate to anything, just give us a football field, and we’ll play.
If the Rams win this game against SF, then their travel plans will be studied, if they aren’t being studied already.
Keep an eye out for any changes to the Rams plans, but at this point, what they are planning in August is likely what they will do in September, with regard to their travel plans. Now, in terms of gameplans, expect Kyle Shanahan and McVay to dial it up.
We’ll have to tune in on gameday to see which team’s travel plans seemingly worked out better, and which unit is ultimately able to find a way to secure the victory.
