You can’t spell Tate without ate. Calvin Klein announced on Tuesday (Aug. 25) that Tate McRae is the face of the designer’s fall 2026 Feel the Fit denim campaign, which is directed by Carlijn Jacobs.
The Grammy-nominated singer slips into a pair of the High Rise Loose Jeans and breaks into a choreographed dance across the hallway, which calls back to the brand’s signature ’90s looks. “I’ve been dreaming of this for a long time,” the Canadian hitmaker said in a behind-the-scenes clip.
“I’ve always been a fan of Calvin Klein jeans,” McRae added in a statement. “Every style has its own personality, but they all give you that same undeniable confidence. This campaign is about that moment when you put on your favorite pair of jeans, and everything just clicks. I loved being able to move, dance and bring my own energy to every look.”
Instead of utilizing the 22-year-old’s catalog, clips from the energetic campaign are soundtracked by the 1990 Deee-Lite classic “Groove Is in the Heart,” which reached the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 (No. 4 peak).

Tuesday’s campaign launch has the Low Rise Baggy Jean, High Rise Loose Jean and 90s Straight Jean available at Calvin Klein retail stores and the brand’s online shop. Calvin Klein said that other global stars will follow Tate McRae as ambassadors of the Feel the Fit campaign this fall.
Musically, the Canadian superstar teased a new era while headlining OSHEAGA and Lollapalooza earlier in August, which featured her viral golden dip to close out the memorable sets. McRae also told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview posted on Tuesday that she’s been recording. “I always get comments like ‘[She’s] everywhere but the damn studio,’ and I’m like, ‘Girls, I’m in the studio,’” she said.
The “Sports Car” singer earned her first Billboard 200-topping album with So Close to What in 2025, which earned 177,000 equivalent album units.
