That isn't because anyone has asked him to become the loudest voice in the locker room. Instead, his preparation and daily approach have naturally positioned him as one of the team's leaders.
While speaking with media members , Coach Minter made it clear, after the second workout session, that leadership isn't measured by who delivers the biggest speeches. Instead, he pointed to Flowers' consistency, professionalism and energy as qualities teammates naturally follow.
"He's a great example of just consistency every day. He's got a smile on his face every day. He comes to work. He practices hard. He finishes. He competes."
