Seahawks waive RB Kenny McIntosh
The Seattle Seahawks ' running back situation is going to be a training camp battle to watch. But on Monday, the uncertainty did become a little clearer. Following practice on Monday, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald announced the team planned to waive fourth year running back Kenny McIntosh, and eventually went through with it later that day.
Kenny McIntosh was originally a seventh round pick in the 2023 NFL draft and made the roster in both 2023 and 2024. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL last summer and missed the entirety of the 2025 Super Bowl season. He began this year's training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Apparently, the Seahawks do not feel they have a roster spot to carry him with at this time.
