See the full story · 8 sourcesPeacock is one of the most underrated platforms of the streaming era. In addition to what is inarguably the best live sports access of any streaming service, its vast library offers easy access to comfort watches and bingeable classics like 30 Rock , Parks and Recreation , and The Office. The NBC Universal umbrella provides access to unscripted fare, such as Bravo’s sprawling Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules franchises. And there are enough assorted Law & Order episodes here to power your personal home marathons for at least the next decade.
But it’s likely that many viewers are less familiar with Peacock’s slate of original programming, which comprises an intriguing array of buzzy dramas, offbeat comedies, true-crime series, and everyone’s favorite castle-set reality competition, The Traitors . It’s time to change that. Here are our picks for the shows you need to stream on Peacock right now.
All Her Fault
Stars : Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, Jay Ellis, Abby Elliott, Michael Peña, Thomas Cocquerel, Daniel Monks
Number of seasons : One
Sarah Snook kicked off her post- Succession career with this twisty, high-tension thriller based on the novel of the same name by Andrea Mara. Snook stars as Marissa, a mother who drops her young son off for a playdate, only to return to find that the family living in the house aren’t people she recognizes and her child is missing. As Marissa and her husband (Jake Lacy) race to find Milo, a near-constant stream of shocking secrets are revealed.
Angelyne
Stars: Emmy Rossum, Martin Freeman, Lukas Gage, Hamish Linklater, Alex Karpovsky, Molly Ephraim, Phillip Ettinger, Michael Angarano
Number of seasons : One
You’ve never seen Emmy Rossum like this before. The Shameless star transforms into the singer, actor, and media personality Angelyne, who became known throughout Los Angeles in the ’80s for her billboard advertisements. Angelyne is a five-part series exploring her rise to fame and journalist Jeff Glaser’s 2010 attempt to uncover her real-life story.
The Capture
Stars : Holliday Granger, Ron Perlman, Lia Williams, Ben Miles, Shaun Evans, Paapa Essiedu, Ginny Holder, Cavan Clerkin, Indira Varma, Daisy Waterstone
Number of seasons : Three
This almost uncomfortably timely British techno-thriller kicks off with London detective DCI Rachel Carey (Granger) tasked with investigating a crime the suspect insists he didn’t commit. So far, so seen it in the world of procedurals, except this time, there’s a frightening twist. The accused is innocent, and someone’s made a deepfake so convincing that an innocent man almost went to jail. As the series continues, other technological nightmares crop up, and it becomes increasingly clear that the truth isn’t as important as what you can convince people to believe.
The Day Of The Jackal
Stars : Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch, Úrsula Corberó, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lia Williams, Charles Dance, Richard Dormer, Khalid Abdalla, Eleanor Matsurra
Number of seasons: One
This modern-day spin on the classic 1971 spy novel of the same name stars Eddie Redmayne as the titular Jackal, the elusive assassin known for his high-profile kills. But when one near-impossible kill shot catches the attention of tenacious MI6 agent Bianca (Lynch), a cat and mouse chase for the ages begins. Redmayne is fantastic as the chameleon-like killer for hire, who loves elaborate disguises, fake accents and high-tech weaponry as much as any iteration of Bond. The series has been renewed for a second season.
Devil In Disguise: John Wayne Gacy
Stars : Michael Chernus, Marin Ireland, Gabriel Luna, Michael Angarano, James Badge Dale, Chris Sullivan
Number of seasons : One
Based on Peacock’s own 2021 docuseries John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise (no title confusion there!), this scripted true-crime series is a breath of fresh air in a landscape that tends to skew more heavily toward the lurid and sensational. With a focus on the stories of the victims and their families, the series manages to tell the story of Gacy’s horrific crimes—he killed dozens of men and boys in the 1970s—without glamorizing the man who committed them.
Everything I Know About Love
Stars : Emma Appleton, Bel Powley, Marli Siu, Aliyah Odoffin, Connor Finch, Baxter Ryan Bown, Jordan Peters, Juliet Cowan, Alexander Lincoln, Jill Halfpenny, Craig Parkinson
Number of seasons : One
Adapted from her own bestselling memoir, Dolly Alderton’s love letter to female friendship and the chaotic messiness of love and life in your twenties is delightful from start to finish. The series follows four young women who share a London house together as they engage in some lighthearted early 2010s-style debauchery, make poor decisions, struggle with post-college poverty, and show up for one another when they need it. Breezy and warm, Everything I Know About Love features its fair share of relationship disasters, but its best love story is between the friends at its center.
A Friend Of The Family
Stars: Jake Lacy, Anna Paquin, Colin Hanks, Lio Tipton, Hendrix Yancey, McKenna Grace, Austin Stowell, Patrick Fischler, Philip Ettinger
Number of seasons: One
A Friend Of The Family expands on the wild real-life story explored in the 2019 documentary Abducted In Plain Sight . In excruciating but well-plotted detail, the drama unpacks how a teenage Jan Broberg was kidnapped twice in the ’70s by a predatory friend of the family who was obsessed with her.
The Five Star Weekend
Stars : Jennifer Garner, Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Harlow Jane, Timothy Olyphant, Judy Greer, David Denman
Number of seasons : One

An ode to female frie...
