We’ve made it to the end of another week and that means we are one week closer to both Purdue football and Purdue men’s basketball. And, if you’re in some areas in Indiana it means you’re children (if you have them) went back to school. That’s good for a lot of reasons and if you’re a parent you know what those reasons are. So, we’ve got survey results for the week and this week I asked about men’s basketball expectations post-Canada trip. Did yours change? Let’s look into it shall we?
The vast majority of respondents, 73%, did not change their opinion of the upcoming season at all based on the trip to Canada and the utter domination we saw in the great white north. That leaves a nearly equal 14% that raised their expectations and 13% that lowered their expectations. For me? I think my expectations stayed the same. I don’t think we are looking at a team that has Final Four expectations as we’ve had for two out of the last three seasons, but I do feel like this is a team that can do damage in the Big Ten and have a puncher’s chance in the NCAA Tournament.
Football season is right around the corner and our friends at FanDuel have all the action. Check them out here and be sure to gamble responsibly. Remember to only bet money you’re okay losing.
