Some fresh sights have come from the Cleveland Browns camp on the seventh day. Deshaun Watson is performing really well, throwing 7 touchdowns in the first-team reps without any interceptions. Head coach Todd Monken and company have added defensive tackle Coziah Izzard off waivers, and wide receiver Aaron Anderson has gone to the injured reserve list.
On Wednesday, 16 players didn’t practice, like Elton Jenkins, Sam Kamara, Mike Hall Jr., Teven Jenkins, Jamari Thrash, and Mason Graham, according to reports. Amid all this, the Browns posted a clip of Monken’s fiery speech, where he can be heard giving those crazy motivational chants.
“Someone mentioned something to me, something about being crazy,” Monken said. “You bet your right. You bet your we ought to be crazy. Crazy about winning. That's, that's what we ought to be crazy about, right? About how we play, how every single day we bring. We ought to be.
“I'd rather being crazy and out of my mind fighting to win and leave it out here and somehow medical people got to come out and resuscitate,” he said. “They're going to fight my off to win just everything's okay. It's okay to be casual. It's okay to get out and be a loser. That ain't that even me. And that's not going to be us.”

In the first six practice sessions, the quarterbacks' play hasn't been great, including Watson's okayish performance. If you look closely, Shedeur Sanders' play is somewhat better than Watson's, with zero interceptions compared to Watson's six.
The team, wearing light pads, from the start all three QBs made quick decisions and fast throws, hitting the right targets. Watson threw two quick passes to Jerry Judy and also passed to KC Concepcion.

That's why the QB situation is still unsettled. Initially, the decision was slightly leaning towards Sanders. Monken has indicated that this phase of practice will determine how the opportunities will be shared among QBs at the start of the preseason.

Thursday is the 8th day of the training camp, which will be the last day for system installation. But according to some reports, Monken wants both Sanders and Watson to get a chance in the starting preseason games.
If they keep showing good performance against the Browns' top defense, they could get a chance in the last preseason game. At the same time, the absence of new players, interior offensive lineman Parker Brailsford and tight end Joe Royer, could keep their spots on the depth chart on hold for a long time.
Additionally, Monken on WR Tylan Wallace’s work said:
“Whatever you ask him to do he's going to do it,” Monken said. “He's a diligent worker doesn't really get enough credit sometimes and it doesn't flash in shorts what he gives you. Monken is welcoming Jared Verse's leadership, and the rookie is responding well to it, while the Browns will need to keep boosting each other’s confidence.
