See the full story · 2 sourcesThe 2026 fall high school sports season is quickly approaching and as we continue to roll through the first week of August, cross country runners from around the Beaver Valley begin preparing for the start of the season.
As runners aim for WPIAL and PIAA gold, it is time to select the Beaver County Times’ boys and girls high school cross country preseason runners of the year.
Many of these runners qualified for the WPIAL championships, while others claimed WPIAL gold and had strong showings at the PIAA championships.
Fans can cast their vote as many times as they’d like until the poll closes on Thursday, August 13 at noon. The winners of the poll will be announced once all fall preseason polls have closed.
