See the full story · 1 sourcesParker Retzlaff is in line to make the Chase during the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Series season. With two races remaining in the regular season, Retzlaff sits ninth in the standings with a 59-point advantage over the Chase bubble. While the points gap doesn't guarantee him a spot, two more good runs will put him in the Chase.
It has been a magical season for Retzlaff and Viking Motorsports, and a top-10 seed in the Chase is certainly in play right now. The driver of the No. 99 car has raised his stock, and while Viking Motorsports has cooled down a little bit in the summer months, it should be enough without any major issues.
Retzlaff still has to focus on the future and have a great run at Iowa Speedway in two weeks. After all, Daytona International Speedway as the regular season finale will have a drastic impact on the standings. Retzlaff is in line to make the Chase, but there is still work to be done.
