It's been two years since Australian Olympic breakdancer Rachael "Raygun" Gunn gained international attention with her kangaroo-hopping performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics .
Now, Netflix 's upcoming documentary Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly gives Gunn a platform to address critics and chronicle going viral after her maligned, highly-memed routine won zero points from Olympic judges . Almost overnight, the breakdancer became the subject of a wave of online hate , while accusations were made around Gunn's rise to the Olympic stage.
"There was this frenzy. It was a growing monster," Gunn says in the trailer. "Some of the memes were funny. Then the tone started to change."
Judging by the comments on Netflix's YouTube video , such speculation is far from over. It remains to be seen how Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly , directed by Chapman Way and Maclain Way, will handle such matters.
