(KABC) -- A bodysurfer died Thursday after being found unconscious in Laguna Beach, authorities confirmed.
According to city officials, the man was pulled from the surf at South Crescent Bay Beach just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday after he was seen bodysurfing.

"He was carried to shore by lifeguards, and Marine Safety and Fire Department staff performed CPR at the scene before he was transported by ground ambulance to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach," a city statement said. "His name and information are being withheld at this time."
