Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens was recognized as the No. 36 player on the 2026 NFL Top 100, as voted on by the league's active players.
Pickens experienced a breakout year in his first season with the Cowboys, reeling in 93 catches for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns — all career highs. As his superstar wide receiver teammate CeeDee Lamb missed multiple games due to injury in 2025, Pickens stepped up and showed his ability to perform as a clear WR1 option for Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense.
Veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen feels Pickens has the potential to become the best WR in the league.
“He could be the best receiver in the league," Allen said. "You know Dak is going to throw the ball 50 times a game. You got receivers like George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb, they're going to get open. Out of 50 times, they're going get open 40 times.”
"He can take it to the house. Take a slant to the crib," Allen continued.
Pickens and the Cowboys did not reach a longterm contract agreement before the start of the 2026 season, meaning he'll play his upcoming campaign under the $27.3 million franchise tag.
The Cowboys will open up their 2026 regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against the New York Giants on Sept. 13.
