Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden recently broke down the Denver Broncos just ahead of the first days of training camp, which kicked off on July 31. Gruden began by giving Sean Payton his flowers for his turnaround of the team since being handed the reins in 2023.
"You got to give credit where credit is due," Gruden said in a video posted on his Twitter/X page. "Sean Payton came to Denver after a year off... and they have progressively gotten better and better. And we just talked about the continuity they have on this roster. I look for Denver to be very, very good again."

"Where's the pressure coming from? They got edge pressure from (Nik) Bonitto and (Jonathon) Cooper. They got inside pressure from (Malcolm) Roach and Zach Allen. They got pressure from these blitzes... These guys are relentless ass-kickers, and I love watching them play defense."

Gruden has good reason to believe in the Broncos' chances in 2026. After reaching the AFC Championship last season, Denver is ramping up for another charge to the top of the mountain.
