Police body-camera video captured the moments when San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested in connection with an undercover prostitution bust.
The arrest happened Sunday morning in East Palestine, Ohio.
“Can I ask what you’re doing?” an officer can be heard saying in the video.
“Just driving,” York responds.
“You meeting anybody?” an officer asks.
“No,” York responds.
After placing York in the back of a police cruiser, officers searched his rental car and found cash totaling $160, which they say was the price he agreed to pay when he set up a sexual encounter with who he thought was a prostitute.
York was arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution, but later pleaded no contest to lesser charges.
York has been living in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio, where his parents live, since filing for divorce earlier this year. His wife and two sons remain in Los Altos Hills.
