It’s happening’ – Eagles fans are saying the same thing as Jason Kelce returns to training camp

Philadelphia Eagles fans witnessed former center Jason Kelce return to training camp on Wednesday ahead of the new season.

Kelce has had a busy summer following his brother, Travis’, wedding to global megastar Taylor Swift.

The 38-year-old has now been retired for just over two years following a brilliant career with the Eagles.

It was just last week when Kelce was spotted at training camp as he spoke on a local sports radio show from the Jefferson Health Training Complex.

Although the Eagles went 11-6 last season, there was significant disappointment after losing to a depleted San Francisco 49ers side in the wild card round.

More is going to be needed this season and Kelce’s return to practice has led some Eagles fans to think the same thing.

He may no longer be a player, but Kelce remains fighting for players’ health in the NFL as he recently spoke out about the grass turf debate.

Keen to see some improvement from his Eagles team, Kelce was spotted on Wednesday speaking to the offensive linemen during the latest practice session.

His playing days may be behind him, but there are a lot of Eagles fans thinking he could be set to return as a coach at some point.

‘It’s happening…’ one Eagles fan replied on X.

To clarify what they meant, the fan followed up by saying: ‘Guys he’s obviously not playing again. Talking about him dipping his toes into the coaching part of his legacy’.

‘Coach Kelce has a nice ring to it,’ replied another Eagles fan.

Kelce played a total of 13 seasons in the NFL and he spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles, having been selected 191 in the 2011 draft.

There are numerous fans keen to see the former center return as a coach: ‘Jason Kelce is the only man I wanna see replace coach Stout’.

However, there was one fan keen to urge Kelce not to return as a player: ‘Coach Kelce, yes. Out of retirement player Kelce, no’.

One fan feels Kelce should have been the one to replace Jeff Stoutland: ‘Should have been the OL assistant coach in 2024 and Stoutland should have passed the torch’.
