Dolly Parton left behind an illustrious catalog when she died on Tuesday following a brief battle with cancer . As soon as the news of her death hit, fans tuned into the beloved superstar's music, sparking a 2,222 percent bump in U.S. streams since Monday, Aug. 24, according to Luminate.
Unsurprisingly, Parton's most-streamed song after her death was the vulnerable classic "Jolene," which earned 2.7 million on-demand streams in the U.S. on Tuesday alone, marking a 1276.15 percent increase. The track is also one of the country icon's most-covered hits. "9 to 5," the pop-country smash that accompanied the singer's debut film of the same name, came in close second with 2.3 million streams. "I Will Always Love You," followed with 1.7 million streams, "Here You Come Again," came next and notched 1.3 million streams, and "Island in the Stream," rounded out Parton's top five most-streamed songs with 1.1 million streams.
