Roma closing in on Leweling: German overtakes Henrique
The final hours of the transfer window, the final race for the attack.
Roma continues to work to provide Gian Piero Gasperini with the attacking winger the coach wants to complete his lineup.
The race has now narrowed down to two names: Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling and Zenit’s Luiz Henrique.
In recent hours, as reported by Sportitalia , the Brazilian seemed to be the closest of the two. Roma has been working with Zenit to try to find a definitive agreement, although the paperwork between the clubs has not yet been sent. Now, however, the situation has changed.
According to Sky Sport, Leweling has just overtaken Luiz Henrique. The German has therefore leapt ahead of the Brazilian in the race for the attacking winger Gasperini is waiting for to complete his lineup.
