Yellowstone National Park tourist uses spray to ward off a wolf following him in crazy video

An insane video of a wolf following a tourist is going viral.

As our loyal readers know, there are few things on the internet more fascinating than nature content.

It's guaranteed to fire people up, whether it's terrifying footage or something that is incredibly heartwarming. It can often go either way.

Video footage shared on Instagram by @awolfadventure captured by two men named Deric Smith and Sean shows a wild situation in Yellowstone National Park .

A lone wolf was stalking and following a tourist in a fashion that needs to be seen to be believed. The tourist ultimately needed to use spray to get the wolf to back off a bit.

The caption on the viral Instagram post states the following:

There are few situations in life I can think of that would be more nerve-wracking than to have a wolf stalking you . Granted, better a lone wolf than an entire pack, but either way, it's not an ideal situation to find yourself in.

Fortunately, this tourist remained calm , didn't panic, didn't attempt to outrun the wolf and, instead, stuck to the tools at his disposal.
