The veteran, four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has agreed to a contract with the Washington Commanders to play his 12th professional season.
Diggs, 32, played with the New England Patriots last season, helping quarterback Drake Maye make a splash in his second NFL season as the Patriots reached the Super Bowl.
While he has been the no-question No. 1 option for the majority of his NFL career, Diggs will step into a WR2 role with the Commanders, coming in as a second option behind Terry McLaurin.

Where did Stefon Diggs go to high school?
As mentioned above, Diggs attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland, which is about 30 miles from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, where Washington plays its home games.
In his junior season, Diggs finished up as the runner-up for the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year award. He put together a season with 810 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in 2010 to put himself on the map as one of the top recruits in the nation.
Diggs followed that up with a senior season where he recorded 770 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, while also racking up 277 rushing yards and three more touchdowns as a rusher. Diggs also recorded 31.5 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and one sack on the defensive side of the ball.
Part of the 2012 recruiting class, Diggs was the No. 8 overall player and No. 2 receiver, per 247Sports' Composite ratings. He committed to Maryland over offers from Florida , Auburn and Ohio State. At one time, the Gators were the favorites for Diggs, but that was before the departure of UF offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, who went to Kansas.
Diggs also opted to play for the Terrapins over the Gators following the loss of his father at the age of 14.
"Stefon could've gone to any college in the country but chose to stay close to home," Diggs' mother, Stephanie Diggs, told ESPN in 2020 . "I sat Stefon down in high school and told him he had to make good decisions and set a good example because your brother looks up to you."
