See the full story · 1 sourcesFormer Chicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool worked out for the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo .
Claypool was acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2022. It remains arguably the biggest stain on general manager Ryan Poles' resume.
During his time with the Bears , Claypool recorded just 18 catches for 191 yards and one touchdown in 10 games, and he never won a game while with Chicago. The Bears traded Claypool to the Dolphins in exchange for a late-round pick swap, receiving a sixth rounder and sending a seventh-round selection.
Claypool last played with the Miami Dolphins in 2023, and he spent time on the Buffalo Bills practice squad back in 2024.
