Every season, for almost every team, the biggest storyline is injuries. The Cleveland Browns are no different. Whether it is the uncertainty around the offensive line or HC Todd Monken cutting practice a little short due to having fewer bodies on the field, the Browns haven’t had major injuries, but they are piling up.
The team is probably thankful that they haven’t had the kind of injuries that their Week 3 opponent , the Carolina Panthers , have been dealing with .
On Friday, just before practice started, the team announced a number of changes to their roster due to injuries :
Signed OL Jack Conley back to the roster
Signed CB Jeadyn Lukus
Waived WR Jamari Thrash with an injury designation
Waived LB Reid Carrico
Placed OL Kendrick Green on IR
Following the completion of practice, Cleveland announced the signing of DT Patrick Jenkins to fill the final open roster spot from this morning’s moves.
Jenkins played three years at Tulane with 13 career sacks, 107 tackles, and 27 tackles for loss. He went undrafted in 2024 and has signed with three different NFL teams, with no regular-season snaps logged. Jenkins played in the UFL this spring, with six tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 10 tackles.
