Perry Groves tips Arsenal to hijack Liverpool transfer
Bradley Barcola is set to join Liverpool this summer if the Reds can agree on a transfer fee with PSG, but he is also one of the players Arsenal have been looking to sign in recent months.
The Frenchman is a top player and one of the best stars in the PSG team that has won back-to-back Champions League trophies, which explains why the best clubs on the continent want to sign him. Arsenal are doing their best to win the race for his signature, but the Gunners are behind Liverpool, having spent much of the summer trying to sign Vinicius Junior and Julian Alvarez.
Arsenal can still hijack the move for Barcola, and that is exactly what Perry Groves would love to see as Arsenal continue their search for a marquee signing this summer, despite completing a move for Bruno Guimaraes.
Groves would always want a superstar to join the Arsenal team and now wants them to make their move for Barcola and beat Liverpool to his signature. As reported by Talk Sport , he said:
“I’ve got a source that says he wants to live in London.
“I can’t tell you (who), I can’t divulge my sources. I’ve got a source. I’ve got a mole.”
When pressed on his claim, he simply added: “Barcola wants to live in London.”

The comments from Groves will encourage Arsenal supporters who would like to see Barcola arrive at the club this summer. His claim suggests that the player’s preference could potentially influence the transfer race, although Arsenal still have to overcome Liverpool if they want to secure his signature.
Liverpool are currently ahead of Arsenal in the pursuit of Barcola, but Arsenal can still make their move. Groves clearly believes they should take that opportunity and push to bring the PSG star to the Emirates.
For Arsenal, the possibility of signing Barcola would represent another opportunity to add a high-profile player to their squad. Groves wants the club to act decisively and beat Liverpool to the Frenchman’s signature, with his comments focusing on Barcola’s reported desire to live in London.
