See the full story · 1 sourcesLa Liga outfit Osasuna have on Monday announced a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks. This comes amid confirmation of a deal being closed with Sporting Gijón for Jonathan Dubasin.
Dubasin, for his part, is fresh off a superb campaign in Spain’s 2nd tier in 2025/26. All told, across 38 appearances in the colours of the aforementioned Sporting, the 26-year-old racked up 17 goals and four assists from his berth out wide.
This production gave rise to inevitable interest from La Liga, with a number of clubs from Spain’s top-flight understood to have expressed an interest in Dubasin across the summer to date.
And as alluded to above, on Monday, one such suitor have officially beaten out the competition to land the talented attacker.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Osasuna:
‘Club Atlético Osasuna has reached an agreement with Real Sporting for the transfer of Lleida-born footballer Jonathan Dubasin, for a fixed fee of €4 million.’
The deal between the clubs also features a series of performance-related bonuses, as well as a sell-on clause in favour of Sporting.
