On Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints released former Steelers standout cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. With Joey Porter Jr., Jalen Ramsey, and Donte Kent battling injuries , a reunion with Bishop makes too much sense for Pittsburgh.

During his rookie season, Bishop recorded four interceptions, seven passes defended, and 45 combined tackles, making him one of Pittsburgh's most welcomed surprises from the 2024 season. Unfortunately, Bishop plummeted on the depth chart before the start of the 2025 season and was ultimately released as part of final roster cuts.
At worst, a potential return for Bishop would give Pittsburgh an important camp body, which the team sorely needs. But it honestly wouldn't be surprising if Bishop earned his way back onto the Steelers' defense, now coached by DC Patrick Graham.
