The Case-Shiller index is seen up 0.1% in June and 1.7% year over year, while the housing index is anticipated to rise 0.1% on the month, with an annual increase of 2.5%.\r
Further, new home sales from the Commerce Department are set for 10 a.m. ET. Sales are seen easing to a 620,000 rate in July after rising to 628,000 in June.\r
Finally, the Conference Board's confidence reading is expected to fall to 90.1 in August from 90.8 in July and 92.2 in June as rising energy prices fuel inflation concerns.
