The crash happened on Route 72 near Jonestown on Wednesday morning, according to the Bunker Hill Fire Company.
The force of the crash sent the tractor-trailer careening into two garages and a shed, trapping the truck driver inside the wreckage.
Emergency responders worked to free the driver from the cab.
Authorities said both drivers suffered minor injuries.
The extent of the damage to the buildings was not immediately known.
