High school football player in Kansas dies after collapsing at first practice of the season

A high school football player in Kansas died Tuesday after collapsing during the team’s first practice.
KCUR reports that 17-year-old Rylan Reece died at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday. Reece was a junior at Pawnee Heights High School in Rozel, Kansas.
Reece’s mother volunteers in the school district, and his father is a former Pawnee County undersheriff, according to KCUR.
