The Seattle Seahawks have bulked up their running back room this offseason.
That's part of what led to them cutting Kenny McIntosh on Monday night.
The Seahawks announced the move as training camp gets underway, and it ends an injury-plagued tenure for McIntosh with Seattle.
They had put McIntosh on the active/PUP list to open training camp. It suggested he wasn't fully healed from last season's torn left ACL, which happened during camp.
McIntosh was originally a seventh-round pick in 2023 and also got hurt during his rookie training camp, leading to him playing just three games that year.

He made it into every game in 2024, splitting time on offense and special teams. He ran 31 times for 172 yards offensively.
He couldn't build on that after his injury prior to the 2025 season kept him out all year.
Now, the Seahawks have a bulked-up RB depth chart.
Zach Charbonnet remains, although he's recovering from his own torn ACL.
The Seahawks drafted Jadarian Price out of Notre Dame with the final pick of the first round.
They also signed the intriguing Emanuel Wilson from the Green Bay Packers in free agency.
McIntosh will have to find an opportunity to prove that he's healthy, and then maybe he can get a shot with another NFL team.
