La Liga champions Barcelona are ready to open negotiations over the potential sale of Ferran Torres this summer. This of course comes amid long-term interest on the part of Paris Saint-Germain in his signature.
Ferran’s future in Catalunya’s capital has been thrown firmly up in the air over recent weeks. Ahead of the expiration of the Spaniard’s contract terms in 12 months’ time, a number of clubs are understood to have earmarked the versatile attacker as a market opportunity.
Previously, Ferran was viewed as more than happy with his current surroundings, as a rotation option in Hansi Flick’s star-studded Barcelona squad.
Claims, however, have begun to mount that the 26-year-old in fact feels ‘ undervalued ‘ by his employers, therefore open to a new challenge elsewhere next season.
And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then this openness to a parting of ways appears to be very much mutual at the Camp Nou…
As per a report from Marca :
‘Barca are ready to open the door for Ferran Torres. They are not yet aware of the player’s intentions but are willing to negotiate and await the French offer (from PSG).’
