The Dallas Cowboys have signed star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to a three-year, $105.9 million contract extension, according to ESPN and NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. Dallas acquired Williams from the New York Jets last November in a blockbuster deal prior to the 2025 trade deadline.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 10, 2026 The deal, announced Monday afternoon, includes $101 million in total guarantees and $63.35 million fully guaranteed at signing. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter , those figures represent “the most guarantees at signing” for a defensive tackle in league history.
In 2023, Williams agreed to a four-year, $96 million extension with the Jets, which at the time made him the second-highest-paid defensive tackle by average annual value in NFL history, according to Spotrac . This extension makes Williams under contract through the 2030 season.

Following an outstanding college career at the University of Alabama, Williams was selected by the Jets with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent the first six and a half seasons of his career there before being dealt to Dallas in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 conditional first-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith.

Williams was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl following the 2025 season, further cementing his status as one of the NFL’s premier interior defenders.
