Adaptive baseball players step up to the plate in Niles

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) — Batter up! One local baseball league was swinging for the fences tonight in Niles.

The Trumbull County Adaptive Baseball League played a couple of games this afternoon at 7-17 Credit Union Field.

The league first started in 2003 to allow kids the opportunity to play baseball in an adaptive environment. Its season spans from June through July, with three to four games a week at Brookfield Township Park.
