Prior to training camp, there was a large faction of Las Vegas Raiders fans who were not happy about the reports that the team was expected to make nww veteran addition Kirk Cousins the starting quarterback to start the season (and likely remain the starter for much, if not, all of he 2026 season) over No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza.
Now, that we are well into training camp and the preseason, it seems obvious that Cousins will, indeed, be the starter in Week 1 when the Raiders host the Miami Dolphins on September 13. Last week, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said the starting gig is Cousins’ to lose and he has looked great in training camp and the first preseason game.
Now, that that reality is sinking in, we wanted to circle back. How are you feeling about the likelihood of Cousins playing instead of Mendoza.
Cousins has had a strong training camp and, of course, he is experienced. Are you in favor of this plan or do you want the top prized rookie get his shot as soon as possible?
