Barcelona agreed to send Ronald Araujo on loan to Liverpool in a huge surprise move this weekend , with the Uruguayan set to spend the season at Anfield.
Liverpool have an option to buy which means they could lose Araujo for good, so the signing of a new center-back feels necessary.
The Catalans have already been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Argentina defender Cristian Romero in recent hours, and it looks like Barça will indeed look into signing a new central defender before the window closes.
