When it comes to the Hall of Fame Game , it's more true than ever—and we're likely to be treated to a heavy helping of third-stringers and other players on the roster bubble.
While it's a bummer for watchability, the Carolina Panthers are making the right decision to rest all of their starters for tonight's game against the Arizona Cardinals . The team is currently suffering through a flurry of major setbacks—including season-ending knee injuries for outside linebacker Nic Scourton and rookie wide receiver Chris Brazzell II.
Understandably, head coach Dave Canales is playing it safe— telling reporters earlier in the week that he won't be fielding his starters and a few other key players. So, at the least, don't expect to see these Panthers out on the gridiron tonight:
