Tom Selleck Calls ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation “Very Frustrating” After Having Already Taken a Pay Cut

Tom Selleck says he shaved everything but his iconic mustache to keep Blue Bloods going, but after 14 (or 15, depending who you ask) seasons and a 25 percent producer- and cast-wide pay cut , CBS pulled the plug anyway . And that, Selleck says, was "very frustrating."

" Blue Bloods was a labor of love," Selleck told Ted Danson on the Where Everybody Knows Your Name SiriusXM podcast . "The real truth to that is in the last year… at our last family dinner, everybody wanted to come back. We'd already taken a 25 percent cut in salary.
