Luka Doncic is reportedly going to welcome his Los Angeles Lakers teammates to Slovenia later this summer.
The Lakers have undergone a major rebuild following LeBron James’ departure, with eight new players joining the team.
These new additions include Walker Kessler, Quentin Grimes, Collin Sexton, Kevon Looney, and Sandro Mamukelashvili.

Given the huge roster turnover, the new-look Lakers must focus on building their team chemistry ahead of next season.
Doncic’s plan to bring the group closer together is to hold a mini training camp in Slovenia, complete with a busy itinerary.
What Luka Doncic has planned during the four-day training camp
Luka Doncic has invited the entire Los Angeles Lakers roster to Slovenia for a four-day training camp in August.
Dave McMenamin has reported that “the itinerary will include workouts, golf, and some Ljubljana tourism and bonding ahead of training camp.”
The Lakers players are then likely to return to Los Angeles for JJ Redick’s official training camp ahead of next season.
This will be Doncic’s first season as the Lakers’ undisputed leader, with Austin Reaves also assuming more responsibility in LeBron James’ absence.
If the Lakers are to reach the latter stages of the 2027 postseason, Doncic and Reaves will both need to be at their absolute best.
