Rangers get back key bullpen piece, activate RHP Jakob Junis from injured list

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif — The Texas Rangers  activated pitcher Jakob Junis from the injured list and designated pitcher Marco Gonzalez for assignment prior to Saturday's game against the Athletics at Sutter Health Park. Junis had been on the injured list since July 30 with an adductor strain and, in part because of hip impingement prior to that, has only pitched five times in the second half of the season.
