American Caty McNally led the way in the upset-laden Day 4 of the National Bank Open taking out Wimbldeon champion Linda Noskova in straight sets.
Noskova’s loss proves that it is difficult to make the transition to hardcourt after winning Wimbledon and fulfilling all of the press and appearance obligations with a short turnaround.

Mubadala DC Open champion Taylor Fritz lost in his first round match on Wednesday. Top seed Alexander Zverev was also ousted.
Injured Felix Auger-Aliassime withdrew
