The team announced on Monday that they waived undrafted free agent running back Lincoln Pare with a non-football injury.
Pare signed with the Colts following the 2026 NFL draft. At Texas State in 2025, Pare had a breakout year, rushing for 1,128 yards with 12 touchdowns. He averaged 5.1 yards per rush over his career.
Pare was also quite active in the passing game, catching 37-of-41 passes last season at 7.6 yards per reception.
Colts updated running back depth chart before training camp
Leading the way will be Jonathan Taylor, while DJ Giddens and Seth McGowan battle for the backup running back role. Those three will likely make up the running back depth chart on the 53-man roster.
That said, also on the team and pushing for a roster spot will be Ulysses Bentley and Anderson Castle.
