The Little League World Series regional finals roll on with the West Valley (Idaho) Little League All-Stars taking on Soundview Little League (Washington) for a chance to represent the Northwest in Williamsport on Thursday, Aug. 13.
\n Idaho has rolled through the winner's bracket, outscoring their first two opponents by a combined score of 21-5. For Washington, they had to claw back after losing to West Valley 9-3 in the regional semifinal on Tuesday before bouncing back the next day with an 8-2 rout of Oregon in the elimination bracket. Now, they have their chance at redemption in the biggest game of their lives.
\n The winner will advance to take on Phenix City, Alabama in the opening round of the Little League World Series on Aug. 19.
